*About our melts*

Our melts are made from all-natural soy. No paraffin. We use American Soy Organics soy wax because the soybeans are grown in the USA (Midwest), the soy beads are sustainable, renewable and ethically produced. They contain zero animal products and are never tested on animals.  

We use premium fragrance oils that are cruelty-free (never tested on animals), phthalate-free, many are vegan-friendly, and often infused with essential oils.  

The clamshells are environmentally friendly PET plastic.  

Liquid dye is added to the wax and also to the clamshells, which is skin safe & non-toxic. These dyes are considered vegan-friendly and cruelty-free. They may (possibly) stain surfaces or hands so it is recommended to use a melt liner and wash hands after use.  

Cosmetic-grade mica pigments are added to the wax/clamshell. This mica is ethically sourced, gluten free, vegan, and cruelty-free.  

All batches are hand-poured in small batches usually in 16 oz to 32 oz increments. We personally hand dye everything!

When your item arrives to you, sometimes you will notice cracks along the areas where the cubes are to be broken apart and that is normal. Cracks do not affect the scent at all. If anything it will help you use the melt more efficiently. Each batch is hand-dyed and the process can lend itself to each melt being unique. From batch to batch you may notice subtle variations in coloring. We have been told that our melts last much longer than store-bought melts. I have been told they last days and days in 1 to 4-hour increments. Days!!! Our melts are worth the purchase because you cannot find most of these unique mixes in the store or even on Etsy. Over half of our melts are not straight out of the bottle. They are unique creations hand-crafted by The Raw Few! The other cool thing about buying melts on here in general is that you are supporting a small business and Artisan scent design. You cannot find many of the melt scents we create. So if you like to smell unique products, stick around and try us out!

The clamshells hold more than 2 oz. each and I do over-pour so you really will be getting over 2 oz. Going forward I will weigh each batch and take the lowest weight to put on the label. You still will be getting an over-pour.

Our melts are a little different because we try and pick a theme or set a scene. We are inspired by life, feelings, movies, songs, books, poetry, and quotes. Creative writing and technical writing has been our passion and this comes out in the products we create. We also love being mixologists with the scents, creating new and unique fragrances for the world to enjoy. We want each melt or whichever product you purchase, to give you a vibe, a feeling, a story, or even an experience.   

*Directions for use*

Open up the clamshell. You can pop out the whole block or try and pop out part of it. Start with one cube and place it into your electric warmer or tea light warmer. We recommend using electric warmers over tea lights just for the consistency of melt temperature. Also using a melt liner that is made specifically for wax melt warmers will allow you to switch out your scents after the unit has cooled and you can enjoy a variety with ease. Leave it in the warmer for no longer than 4 hours. Let 30 minutes go by and decide if you need a second cube. Testing the melts, it takes about 30 minutes for it to hit your nostrils from a distance of 12-15 feet away from the warmer in a large room (sitting on a couch). In a small room, it takes very little time to reach your nose. Sometimes we have tested them in a small kitchen and they reach your nose quicker. One cube should last about 6-12 hours, but of course, that means you are using it in 4-hour increments, so it can last days if you melted it 4 hours a day.  

Be aware also that your nose will become used to the scent, where you feel that it has left the room like Elvis. It is kind of like making Thanksgiving dinner and while you're cooking the turkey and all the sides, you really become immune to the smell. But you go outside to take the trash out and come back in, and WOW, the smells are mouthwatering! Same concept.

*Safety Thoughts*

Be mindful of your warmer. Keep it away from wagging tails, curious kitties, and playful children. The wax gets hot and nobody wants any wax spilling on pets, people, or surfaces. Also, don't let it be on for more than 4 hours. Don't leave your warmer unattended. No matter how delicious this wax might smell, avoid tasting it or pouring it on your body. This wax is purely for scent exploration.

*Free Wax Melt Liner With Melt Purchase*

We love using wax melt liners so much that we wanted you to experience them. No more cleaning your wax melter out. Just place the liner where you would have placed the cube on your melter, then place the melt cube into the liner. Let your melter do its magic of melting that awesome melt. Once your 4 hour melt time is up, just turn off your melter (or blow out the candle if it a tea light) and let the melted wax cool. Once it is cooled you just simply take out your liner and set it aside for another day. We have ours stacked up nicely from all of our testing and switch them out depending on our mood. No more cleaning silicon liners or porcelain surfaces. We like things easy. We also enjoy the ease of exploring scents and rotating our liners. After all variety is the spice of life! Enjoy!
